Administered by the CFP Board, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification is the pinnacle of excellence for financial planners. For more than 30 years, CFP® professionals have met extensive training and experience requirements while being committed to strict ethical standards that require them to put their clients’ interests first. Less than one third of all financial planners in the United States are CFP® professionals, highlighting the difficulty in successfully completing the certification process.
