Deadline to Make Medicare Plan Changes – December 7th
Medicare participants have until December 7th to make changes to their plans. But those who are happy with their current plan and coverage don’t need to do a thing.
Confirm Medicare Part D Prescriptions
As you probably know, at Agili we recommend that our clients have Medicare Part D prescription coverage. As always, it’s important for Medicare Part D participants to confirm that their prescription drugs are still included in the plan’s “formulary,” as plans can make changes to their coverage.
We suggest that even clients who do not currently take a prescription drug enroll in Part D prescription coverage when they enroll in traditional Medicare (or confirm that prescription coverage is included if they are enrolled in a Part C “Medicare Advantage” plan) because there is a penalty for late enrollment.
