Describe your family: Most of my family is from Virginia and consists of retired Army veterans, librarians, principals, among many other professions. As far as my immediate family— my father, brother and I were all college athletes, so sports have always been a common interest that keeps us together. Whether it’s fantasy football, traveling to games, or debating current sport topics, we’re always entertained. My mother, a graduate from Virginia State University, keeps the family engine running and has been one of the most supportive people in my life, along with my fiancée.
What motivates you? Being able to provide a service that helps individuals reach their life goals along with providing support on major financial decisions.
What are your hobbies/charities/sports (active or fan)? I enjoy coaching the Benedictine Middies, the Benedictine College Prep Middle School football program. I am a product of the Middies program myself.
What is your favorite childhood memory? It’s hard to pinpoint one specific memory, but a lot of my favorite childhood memories come from growing up with an older brother. We spent countless hours with both of our friend groups together playing backyard football, outdoor basketball, and video games.
What is your favorite vacation spot? Cancun, Mexico

What is your favorite book? The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
What is your favorite movie? Pursuit of Happyness
What is your favorite food or type of food? My favorite food is chicken and waffles from Dame’s Chicken and Waffles in Durham, NC.
*Scott’s too modest to mention this above, but while attending Duke University as an undergraduate and graduate student and playing football, Scott was selected to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and All-ACC Academic Team.
