Agili President, Michael Joyce, recently discussed college education planning with NBC12 reporter, Rachel DePompa. FAFSA enrollment began on October 1st and we recommend applying for financial aid as early as possible. Michael says that while the FAFSA application process can be time-consuming, it is well worth the effort.
How to Apply for College Financial Aid
You can submit your FAFSA application at studentaid.gov.
What You’ll Need to Apply
To complete the FAFSA form, you will need the following:
- Social security number
- Federal income tax returns
- W-2s from two years prior
- Bank statements
- Records of investments
- Records of untaxed income
Apply Early!
It’s important to apply as early as possible for financial aid since colleges and universities have limited funds available for student grants. If you delay applying, it’s possible a college’s financial aid funds will have dwindled and you may receive less in aid than you would have at an earlier date.
